Dr Ahmed Mokhtar

Dr. Mokhtar is currently the

Vice Chairman & Managing Director – NBK Capital Asset Management Egypt. During his career, he structured and/or actively managed Money Market, Equity Funds and Proprietary Portfolios in excess of USD 6 billion.

Dr. Mokhtar is a Professor of Financial Management, Investment and Portfolio Management at ESLSCA Business School. He received Lipper fund award for best Islamic Equity fund over 5 years in Egypt 2016 and the Lipper fund award for the best Islamic Equity fund on 3 years return in Egypt 2014. He also received the Zawya fund award for the best Balanced Fund in Egypt 2013.

He is a reviewer in the Journal of International & Interdisciplinary Business Research. He is also a Certified Corporate Director- CDCP and holds a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) and Master of International Business Administration (MIBA) from Ecole Supérieure Libre des Sciences Commerciales Appliquées (ESLSCA Business School), Paris in 2016 and 2001 respectively and Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Cairo University in 1993.
