Adel Kamel

Geologist Adel Kamel is the current Chairman of the Golden Triangle Economic Authority, established as per Presidential Decree No. 343/2021. Previously, Mr. Kamel was the Chairman and Managing Director of Tharwa Petroleum Company, an independent E&P company that operates several concessions in the Western and Eastern Desert regions. Prior to this, he served as the Deputy CEO for agreements at the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
