Eng. Medhat Yousry

Eng. Medhat was appointed as WAPHCO Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director for the development and construction of a Phosphoric Acid Production Plant in Abu Tartour, with a vision to build a state-of-the-art plant at the highest industrial quality assurance standards. He has 35 years of experience in Projects and Construction Management/Supervision Management in the fields of Oil & Gas Industry in Egypt and 9 years in the Gulf Area (UAE & Qatar). Additionally, he has vast experience in Quality Control & Assurance and Occupational Health and Safety. He started his career in 1985 and has worked with AGIBA Petroleum Company in the Western Desert, ADCO / ADNOC (Abu Dhabi) & GEISUM in Egypt. Eng. Medhat joined Bureau Veritas Qatar in 2004 as Industry & Facilities Business Line Manager, in 2007 assumed CEO of Bureau Veritas- Egypt. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alexandria, Egypt.
